Running a website isn't easy, and, it sure isn't free.
I've created the site using a bare-bones budget using funds I've saved from part-time jobs. I'm in the early stages of a Special Populations internship rotation and my primary focus is directed there. I spent hours and hours learning code, but in the end I had to turn to a third-party platform that allowed me to design this website now rather than months and months from now.
We are certainly lacking in features at this point, for you may have noticed not everything works, for instance, the social media icons. I've already paid for the site to be hosted for a year and by then I should be able to determine if this is a viable project or not. It is my goal to be able to make this website self-sustainable. Eventually, we'll have to publish some sponsored content, but, if we reach enough readers then they'll be few and far between.
In the mean-time, keep on reading! And if you like what you see then help this site live by sharing your favorite posts on Facebook and Twitter!
